We started the day with the MDR breakfast. They have the same menu each day. I talked Travis into trying the Breakfast Power Wrap from the healthy menu; it sounded interesting. He was not a big fan -- too much tortilla and not enough seasoning/flavor. He also got a side of Cheddar Cheese Grits that was bigger than he expected for a side that were good. I had the salmon, bagel, and cream cheese. Half a bagel only, like in the buffet, is a perfect amount. I got the bacon, but it was not as crispy or lean as last time. I also requested a chocolate donut and hot chocolate, both good.
We went for morning trivia (fyi, you are not welcome to sit at the bar just to play trivia, which I guess makes sense, but not very welcoming). We arrived early, so also played the ABC game. This had 26 questions and the answers for each had to start with a unique letter/could not reuse a starting letter. Since we were late, we had less time to complete it. We then played trivia; our trivia friend, that we met the day before, joined us.
Next, we needed to play putt-putt since we had not been up to play yet. We played two rounds. A family with a small child was starting right in front of us; they let us go first saying they would be slow. They were not very slow; I may have been slower and should have gone last.
Impressive, the sheets had the Crown and Anchor logo. While Travis went to the gym, I walked the promenade deck; I found Carnival passing us going toward Mexico.
We went to the MDR for lunch; we went a little later than the first time. They wanted us to share; we were seated with two ladies from Czechia. It was fun to talk to them and learn about their culture. There was a program offered in Czechia to get a summer job in the United States and then have some free time to travel. They worked at an amusement part in Tennessee (not Dollywood, but a smaller one that I had not heard of). Then they rented a car to see Grand Teton and Yellowstone. They then did a Wild West Tour with Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and LA. They liked this less due to having to follow a group schedule. Lastly, they took their first cruise. They were not big fans of cruising either, sadly. They were flying home the next day and were eager to get home after being away so long. Hopefully, their flights got away before the Pacific hurricane rain came through. They were college students -- one finishing her thesis and the other not starting back until after she returned. I was surprised for school to start after the beginning of October; our kids started mid-August.
I got a picture of mozzarella sticks before eating them this time. Travis had lentil soup and a tomato salad, and I had the quesadilla with steak. It was good, though I could have passed on the peppers.
Since we had not been to the buffet at dinner, I suggested that we scope it out. Scoping did lead to some eating. They had these beautiful cakes; these may have been the really tasty cakes saved for the last day. We did not try any though. I did get a chocolate cake that was baked in a pan with a pour over chocolate sauce; it was really good. They had mussels and crawfish -- very fancy. Travis said the mussels were good, and that the crawfish were overcooked.
Last dinner with our table mates and waiters, so sad. We also packed earlier; realizing in the morning that you have to pack that day is always the saddest.

We tipped our waiters, got our group picture, and caught a team introduction as we were walking out. Our last towel animal :( .
